"As soon as you add your Checkmk server to the monitoring, a graph showing the history of your host problems will appear here. Please refer to the Checkmk user guide for more details."

CMK version: Docker Free Edition check-mk-free:2.1.0-latest
OS version: Debian 12

Error message:

I have my hosts running and registered them successfully and they are monitored in all the other dashboards. Though I still have this message in the main dashboard. I also looked in the other thread that had this problem however it gave me no solution.

Same goes for the article in the docs

Is this a bug or something? Sorry guys I don’t even know how I could provide logs for this.

Are you also monitoring the server Checkmk is running on?

Same as any other Linux server: Put an agent on it, add to Checkmk

Yes I’m also monitoring the server where my container is launched from.

Here’s how my services look like from the linux host where checkmk is running from as docker container.

Ah, I don’t know how this would work in a container setup.

But my assumption would be that you need to monitor the container to get the Checkmk-specific services.

But this is me speculating, not knowing.

The docker monitoring of the docker host provides piggyback data for the Checkmk container.
Use the Dynamic host configuration or create hosts named like the containers to use the piggyback data.

Thank you for your help guys!
I added another host with the container name and it works.
