What method is there to track/audit user actions in checkmk?
Not sure if this helps as your heading seems to be directing to another topic than your post itself.
You know about the profile for each checkmk user for every installation at /omd/sites/$SITE$/var/check_mk/web/$USER$
? There are serveral .mk files - maybe you find some relevant information about certain required “user actions”?
Moreover if I remember correctly, in the 2.0.0 version there will be a new column in the users table showing “last seen”…
Hi,
I don’t know what you want to know, but you can …
- Monitor user logins: Global settings -> User management -> Save last access times of users.
- Activate git for configuration files: Global settings -> Administration Tool -> Use git version control for WATO.
