CMK version: 2.2.0p32
I have setup automatic agent updates.
But I want to limit it to some host for Test deployment, so new agents are only deployed to these host.
So, I can do a controlled rollout to like 4 host groups.
But if I select update only to the selected hosts, then all other agents with automatic agent installed, will get a warning i “Check_MK Agent”.
Is there any way to avoid this_

Hi Denis,
in the rule “checkmk agent installation auditing” you can configure the following rules :
State if agent deployment is globally disabled
State if agent deployment is disabled for host

Thanks, so if I set it to
State if agent deployment is globally disabled: OK
Then the warning will be gone and the service will be OK?

I would use the second rule for hosts and test it, but I assume yes

Is there an option to select/filter different groups, so I dont get alerts on that?

Hostgroups are not a valid selection there, but you could work e.g. with folders in the limit and in the agent auditing ruleset.

But I will get an error on the host that has installed automatic update and is not in that folders.
Is there any way to avoid that alarm?

Any one know how to disabled the alarm when using Conditions, not not to get this alarm
Update error: Agent Bakery: Agent updates are disabled for host name HOSTNAME because it is not in the selected Setup folders

Hi @denis ,
the rule Checkmk Agent installation auditing should solve your problem:

I have set these, and that only work for the “Master switch”
But now when I have activated the master switch and made Conditions to groups all other servers starts to get warning

Hi @denis ,
seems to be a bug. Fixed with werk 17309:
