Hi, I would like to change the default value for the dashboard reload frequency to some other value for the main dashboard. Is there a config option for that?
Right now when i unplug a switch or accespoint it takes a good minute to take effect on the screen.
That sounds completely fine. The normal check interval for the host and service checks is 1 minute.
Also with a quicker refresh of the dashboard you would not see the state change before the next check interval.
Page reload/refresh should be 30 seconds i think.

On the dashboard the refresh is 30 seconds. But also with quicker refresh you would not see the state change earlier. CMK only checks the service state one time per minute in the default configuration.
There is only one exception. If you use the enterprise edition and the smart ping service you will see a host down after 15 seconds.
The default refresh interval of 1 minute is only for single views. But here you have the option with the display settings to reduce this refresh timer to 30 seconds.

Besides what Andreas said, you can always click on the page title/heading to make it refresh/reload instantly.
Yes i noticed, sadly thats not an option as its going to be in a project where we install a monitoring tool in our company network, and constantly resfreshing manually is not worth it.
