Is it possible to filter notifications based on the Azure host tag associated. I believe checkmk should automatically bring in the host tags from the azure virtual machines but i’m not sure if this is the ‘host tag’ in checkmk or not?
It looks like host tags are configured manually in checkmk, the same with host labels?
How do I use the host labels brought in as the filter?
With this werk, now its possible to import Azure tags as service labels but this is only in 2.3.
Thanks, so just to clarify if a tag is assigned to a host in Azure for say ‘Criticality’ this can automatically be pulled in to checkmk and then used as a filter for notifications?
The link mentions ‘service labels’ but the tags in Azure will be assigned to hosts/VMs.
Do you have a screenshot of how this appears under notifications in checkmk? Is this a new checkbox or do you still use ‘Match host tags/labels’?
It is bringing in tags at the minute such as ‘source:terraform’.
