BI and distributed monitoring

I have created in BI an aggregation that integrates services from several Checkmk servers in a distributed environment. This part works as expected out of the box.

Now I want to use a rule “BI Aggregations” to create a service for this. I’ve already found out that I have to use “Connect to site url” when the source of the aggregation and the target host of this rule are not on the same site. But this seems to work only if all aggregations are coming from a single site/server. What about the scenario mentioned above, where the BI data is collected from various Checkmk servers? Is this even possible?

I`ve deployed something similar to combine the results from 2 different checkmk sites. I use the ruleset named “BI Aggregations” for that. Our goal with that feature was to merge the status of a http check in two remote sites.
