We have retired several hundred virtual machines, and we now have several hundreds failed ‘hosts’ in Tactical Overview - Hosts - Problem.
I can click on a hostname, click on the WATO button and Delete Host. However doing this several hundred times, is not appealing.
When I click on Tactical Overview - Hosts - Problem, I can click on the pin at the top of the page, and filter by a string, and then I can enable check marks and select all. However at this point there is nothing I can do. None of the options provide a ‘bulk delete’.
The only method of bulk host delete of is, WATO - Host and then drill down to the applicable folder and check off all the hosts in that folder that I want to delete, and delete them.
The downside here, is there are no “host down” indicator. I would have to start with Tactical Overview - Hosts - Problem, write down a list of all hosts to delete, and then go into WATO - Hosts and manually select each check mark and then bulk delete them.
Could a bulk delete be added to the various tools under the hosts toolbox?
