Cache interval of piggybacked vSphere Data

Hi,

a few days ago we updated from CheckMK 1.6.0p27 to p28.
Everything ist working as before, but we have a strange behavior of our piggybacked vSphere Checks.

We use the rule “Datasource Programs → Check state of VMWare ESX via vSphere” with the options “Queried host is the vCenter” and “Display ESX Host power state on ‘The queried ESX system (vCenter / Host)’” so the ESX Checks show up on the respective hosts. (ESX CPU, ESX Datastores, ESX Guest Tools etc.)

The check interval for the vSphere hosts Check_MK service ist set to 10min via the rule “Normal check interval for service checks”. So the host queries new data every 10 minutes and the piggyback data ist refreshed every 10minutes.

After the update to 1.6.0p28 the cache interval of the ESX … checks on the hosts with the piggyback data is set to 90sec (was 10min before).
The result ist that all these checks go stale after around 2min and stay in this state until there is new data after the 10 minute check interval.

Is there any rule or workaround to set the cache interval for these checks back to 10 minutes?
