Can Checkmk be upgraded from version 2.1.x to version 2.2.0 or do I have to do a fresh installation?

Hi, I have seen that checkmk version 2.2.0 was released yesterday, can I update my current version 2.1.0p27 to 2.2.0 or should I do a new installation? Best regards
