Can I migrate or transfer my checkmk from RHEL to ubuntu?

Hi All,

I have some issue with my CheckMk server , hope you can give some advice.

I am running my checkMk raw edition on my Linux RHEL version 7.9, since this version is too old and we don’t have license for it, we can’t upgrade to newer version. During our company regular tenable scan , it find out some vulnerabitlities including the below critical one” Python unsupport version detection”, since we are not Linux expert, can give some advice how to solve this ?

Yes, you can. Use omd backup and omd restore to transfer the site to the new Checkmk server. Remember that you need the exact same Checkmk version for the restore.
