Cannot remove elements from report

CMK version:2.0.0p23 (CME)
OS version:Oracle Linux 7

If I remove an element from an existing report it seems to work until the site refreshes. Then the element is back. This happens to all reports of all users. I cannot say if this came with a specific update, since we did a couple of updates since I created reports the last time.

Has anyone seen this as well? Any Idea where to look this up?

The edit of the reports is done on the master server or? If you have a distributed setup
