Change threshold of service on per host basis

Just started using checkmk, and so far it seem a great product.

I’m trying to change a warn/crit threshold of service for a particular host.
Is that possible? or do I need to create a new service?
The UI does get a bit confusing once I go into the service creation, and setup->services.

Hi @ppiorunski and welcome to the community,

yes, this is possible and you have different options to get to the rule which is configuring the thresholds.
If you like to modify it for a specific service of a particular host you can use the Parameters for this service inside the options dropdown in your views.

Depending to the service you like to configure you can create a rule at the next screens or modify a already existing.

Inside the rule you have the option to make the rule working for hosttags, specific for hosts (also regex works with ~ before the hostname) or match all hosts in a particular folder by creating the rule inside the folder.
