Check_httpv2 check via Proxy

Hey,
We are currently facing issues migrating to check_httpv2, mainly due to the missing granular proxy options in the GUI (e.g., Basic Auth, etc.).

The current implementation only supports a complete configuration line with a plaintext password! Since we have numerous checks relying on this, we are unable to use the password store for authentication, and we would prefer not to migrate these manually.

Has anyone found any workarounds for this issue?

We’re having the exact same issue.
Looks like separate fields and password support will be available in 2.5: Werk #18908: check-http: Manual proxy config update

Hopefully the old check_http will still be available in 2.5 so that we have some time for migrating these checks.
