[Check_mk (english)] Add notes in hosts and services

Hi,

I’m new with check_mk and I want to migrate my nagios server to check_mk and I can’t find how to create notes associated to hosts and services.

The version of check_mk is 1.6.0p6 (Raw edition).

Can someone help me?

Hi Juan,

after you select your host or service use the small hammer icon in the top “menu bar”.

Then go to the section “VARIOUS COMMANDS” and use the “Add comment” function.

This should be the same as the notes in the old Nagios setup.

With this procedure I would add a comment in the host or service that appears in the icon column as a “talk bubble”.

What I’m
looking
for
is
to
add
information
that will appear
in
the
view
in
the “custom

notes”
column.

I

found
this

where
it
shows
how
to
do
it
from CLI,
but
I
would
like
to
know
if
it
is
possible
to
do
it with WATO:
