[Check_mk (english)] All active checks returning code 127

Hi list,

We’re currently seeing a strange issue with CMK version 1.2.3i1 which we have been running with no issues since it was released. When we inventory a new check and restart check_mk all active checks immediately start returning the 127 return code out of bounds error. If we remove that check, or any other check the issue rights itself. This makes me think that there is something mangling the automatically generate config file. Has anyone run in to this issue before?

Regards

What kind of check, mrpe? If so, check the file permissions. Make sure the plugin files are owned by Nagios and can be executed.

All of the active checks return 127 (Events, inventory check, regular check_mk check and any other extra checks we have configured inside of main.mk).

It doesn’t seem to matter which passive check is added. I have seen this with mrpe, an additional logwatch check, and additional interfaces on a SNMP switch.
