I'm upgrading a few systems to SciLinux 7.0 and having a small issue with chrony vs ntpd. The documentation I've found so far tell me that SL7.0 is using chronyd instead of ntpd. The ntp daemon will run on SL7.0 but it doesn't like to start during reboots for some reason. I can get chronyd running just fine but check_mk_agent (1.2.4p5) doesn't show any chrony output, it's still using ntpq.
How do I get checks for chrony in place instead of ntp? My monitoring server is running OMD version 1.21.20140903. Do I just need to wait for OMD and agent versions that have the chrony stuff included?
