[Check_mk (english)] Comparison of check_mk to icinga-web

I’ve recently installed icinga-web 1.4, and it runs a long side nagios 3.2.3. I’m wondering if check_mk will work with icinga-web, and if so, what should I be aware of in getting the two to work together.

Michael,

I’m using idoutils, for use with icinga-web. Will check_mk work with icinga-web?

icinga-web alongside nagios 3.2.3 - what datasource are you using for it? ndoutils?

and for the topic - check_mk is an addon mainly for host and service checks and inventory and client based checks. so this will work with the core as long is you configure it right.

We have a test setup running icinga with check_mk and also the icinga-web dashboard. (80 hosts)
These things run along as long you install the dependancies for icinga-web (idoutils etc).

The two are both frontends for data in the core. (livestatus for check_mk and idoutils for icinga-web)
