[Check_mk (english)] Configure site for distributed monitoring via command line

I need to be able to configure a Check_MK instance/site for distributed monitoring in a lights-out environment. The only instructions I have found so far show running the command “omd config” which invokes an interactive menu. I need to accomplish the setup using a script running in the background - no user to interact with, whether using OMD, or CMK, or through direct manipulation of configuration files.

Hi Ron,

  you can use `omd config` non interactively. As the site user:

omd config show should list every available option. omd config set LIVESTATUS_TCP on turns livestatus on. Note that you must
stop the site to configure it.
