After upgrading from 1.5.0p22 to 1.6.0p5 custom notifications are not
working any more. When adding a new host group or service group or
modifying an existing one I used to test it with Fake check results. Now
nothing happens, there are even no entries in the notify.log.
I realized that icinga is now obsolete and all related files and
directories are deleted with the update. Does this have any impact of
the notifications in general?
I found it. I need to send the Custom Notification in the various commands section in the respective service view after setting the service to Critical. This used to work ad hock after setting the service to Critical.
