[Check_mk (english)] dfs replication monitoring

Hi,

Is there any plans to make available DFS replication in Windows monitoring available through CMK?

Anyone have this working? We recently implemented DFS for our remote server shares, and need a way to monitor it through Nagios, looking at the table of checks, I don’t see anything on that; wanted to check if anyone out there has any package
available within CMK that works?

I wrote something like this about a year back for my previous company. Unfortunately I don't have a copy of it. What I ended up doing was write a few different scripts and nagios check.

The first script would create a test file that contained the current UTC time stamp. The nagios check would verify replication on each DFS target by checking for that test file, parsing the text and comparing to the current UTC time locally. If it was off by greater than X threshold, a warning was issued, if greater than Y, critical.

This should be much easier to do now without nsclient++, as you can make use of MRPE in the new git agent of check_mk, or a locally written check.
