[Check_mk (english)] How to set recurring downtime with check_mk

Hi,

I have several systems where some services are sending errors in backup time. How can I set an recurring downtime for this service that the service will not notify every night at 23:00 hours.

I had the downtime scheduler from Steve Shipway running but after an upgrade of check_mk this do not work anymore.

Try this approach: Create a new timeperiod that can be used for this. It should exclude the time frame you don’t want notifications to be sent. In my environment for example, i have a rime period for business hours, non business hours and a few other custom ones.

Then apply the newly created time period to the hosts/services in your main.mk file.
