Has anybody measured the performance impact the check_mk_agent.exe service has on a Windows machine? I installed the agent on some Citrix servers and the Citrix admin asked me to disable the agent some days later claiming the service was heavily degrading the server performance. I was under the impression the agent had minimal impact on the performance, but I got uncertain now.

First step is to measure, how long a check_mk -d TARGETHOST
lasts, e.g. with 'time'. That is the maximum of possible
used CPU ressources of one core per minute. The agent should
not create any disk I/O.
