Hello
I have just upgraded from 1.5.0p22 to 1.6.0p5, CEE, and I use baked agents. The windows clients upgraded their agents with no problems, but the linux clients would not upgrade, I got a message saying the update failed.
Looking into the issue, when I looked at the scripts in the RPM, check-mk-agent-1.6.0p5-1.noarch.rpm, in /omd/sites/site/share/check_mk/agents, part of the post install script is :-
if which systemctl >/dev/null 2>&1 && ! which xinetd >/dev/null 2>&1 ; then echo “Enable Checkmk Agent in systemd…” ; systemctl enable check_mk.socket ; systemctl restart sockets.target ; fi
but when I look in /etc/systemd/system/ I don’t have a file called check_mk.socket but I do have one called check-mk-agent.socket
Does anybody have any idea what is going on here or what it is that I don’t understand, not being a Linux expert.
Cheers
Wessley
