[Check_mk (english)] ldap connector removes contact groups

Hi list,

maybe there is someone who got the same problem like me.

I am using the ldap connector in wato and have successfully synced a couple of users into wato and put them into contact groups.

For some unknown reason, from time to time the ldap connector removes the users form all contact groups.

In the changes tab there are entries like

LDAP Connector: Modified user ***** (Added: email, Removed: , Changed: )

The email address was synced before without a problem.

My settings are

LDAP Attribute Sync Plugins

Alias: (no parameters)

Authentication Expiration: (no parameters)

Email address: Synchronize the “mail” attribute of LDAP users into Check_MK.

Any idea?

Hi,

Yeah, we ran into this too. Hence we are not using LDAP for the time being.

I think bug #897 is about this issue as well:

this should be fixed meanwhile. Could someone of you try out 1.2.2b5?

It looks like its fixed since 1.2.2b4 - haven’t had that problem again
