[Check_mk (english)] Monitor IIS Application Pools with check_mk?

Greetings all; say does anyone know if it is possible to monitor the state of an application pool in IIS with check_mk?

My only thought was to enable event viewer log monitoring for an error indicating a given app pool has gone into a failed state.
