[Check_mk (english)] monitoring of Asterisk, Hylafax, CSF and other running services on a Debian machine

We use CheckMK to monitor storage size and a few of the other default checks.

I want to set it up to monitor if Asterisk, Hylafax, CSF, and a few other services we have running are running or stopped on a cluster of servers.

I’ve seen a plugin for Nagios: http://www.hylafax.org/content/Monitor_your_fax_queue_with_Nagios

I have not tried putting it in # /usr/lib/check_mk_agent/plugins

I’ve also read your guide to setting up new notifications:https://mathias-kettner.com/checkmk_flexible_notifications.html

Can you lend some insight on setting up checks like this?

Hi Cory,

We recently set up some monitoring of Asterisk using an agent plugin

& check. I’ll grab the components and throw them up on github
shortly.

If your nodes are monitored using the check_mk agent you can monitor processes, too:

Clusters can also be defined:
