[Check_mk (english)] NagVis path broken moving from OMD to Check_MK RAW

Hello Check_mk users,

I am hoping somebody will be kind enough to give me a few minutes with this.

We migrated from OMD 1.2 to Check_mk RAW 1.2.6p14. Everything seems to work except for this one issue. When I open NagVis maps (which comes up OK) in the Check_MK page and I click on any hosts on the maps (which also comes up OK), the web server returns this error: “The requested URL /mysitenamehere/welcome/cgi-bin/status.cgi was not found on this server.”

Do I change the paths in the NagVis configuration files or is the change needed in Object Defaults? If so, which ones should I be working on and what is the correct path to point to? Or am I looking at this issue from an entirely wrong point?

Hello Hollis.

Hello!
I have similar some issue.
I have installed production system monitoring up to 800 hosts (debian 7,
OMD Version 1.21.20150506) , and i need migrate it all to latest check_mk
raw edition (debian 8).
Backup and restore does not work, because we have the different versions of
the products.

Tell me please, what are the ways to transfer all configuration to another
installation?

Thank you in advance.

Hello Hollis,

please have a look at “omd config” → “Addons” → “Nagvis URLs” and set this to check_mk.

Best regards
Andreas
