Hi All,
I have a problem here in triggering Notifications. i.e i have 2 Notifications rules set for storage volumes.
-
I have set threshold values 85% Warning & 90% Critical assigned for storage hosts and are working fine.
-
Assigned new rule with an threshold values 90% Warning & 95% Critical assigned for the same storage volumes and this rule is not working.
receiving the alerts for rule 1 above 85-90 thresholds, rule 2 also notifies me about same 85-90% thresholds but not for 90-95% thresholds.
can anyone provide me an solution on this??

Hi Sandeep,
if you define different thresholds for the same service then only the threshold first “found” will be used.
Take a look at your threshold rules and see what rule comes first (from the top to the bottom).
If this rule is the 85% rule then all is correct.
Inside a notification rule you cannot bind anything to thresholds.
Thresholds are only important for the checking and to determine a state change.
