Hi,
I am using check_mk 1.2.4p5. And when I hover over a pnp-graph icon, it suppose to display all available mini graphs there is. But instead, I am only getting one mini graph when hovering over. If I want to see all the different ones, I have to click into it.
I’ve also verified this feature on the latest Check_MK demo website and it’s fine, it display all the mini graphs. So my question is: is the a bug in 1.2.4p5 or a feature change?

Maybe you could take a screenshot and make it available at some image hoster… (I think mailing list is limited to mails of 80k size - if your shot is less it could work inline, too).

For example, network “interface” usually have more than one pnp graph, but I am only seeing one when hovering over. And it’s the same for all the other ones as well.

Hi Henry,
I really found an old 1.2.4p3 version lying around and created a fresh OMD site with one monitored host… And all graph previews show up when hovered.
So, usually “should work”.
Will have a look at the code to see if I find a config possibility…

are you using OMD or standalone CMK installation? Could you report used versions:
OMD (if used)
pnp4nagios
…and have you tested different browsers (InternetExplorer, Firefox, Chrome)? Which versions? Same issue in all browsers?

I am only running Chrome and Safari on my Mac and both show the same results.
Which core is recommended between Nagios and Icinga?

Hi Lance,
I played with the Check_MK demo site which is also running on 1.2.6 and I have no problem seeing the mini graph either. But my OMD version only allows me to run on Check_MK 1.2.4p5, so I don’t know if this is a bug or something got changed in this version.

Google search for “pnp4nagios popup shows only first graph” provided at least two other articles reporting the same issue as yours. Apparently no solution found.
I have no other idea at the moment, sorry. But you could right-click the graph icon, select “copy image url” and report this URL to the list. Maybe someone sees any issue…

Personally, I found that a lot of glitches went away after switching to the Check_Mk Micro Core… I know you didn’t list that as an option, but it’s the one I had the best experience with. Of course, you need to subscribe to get it, but the cost is very
affordable and worth it IMO.

Hi Henry,
I personally preferred Nagios in the past but I think Icinga development is more active and would chose that as core.
…at least if I had no subscription and the chance to use Check_MK Micro Core 
CMC is best choice for us because we have 2.300 hosts with 88.000 services (1.300 service per sec) in just one OMD site and the other cores gave up a while ago.

Google search for “pnp4nagios popup shows only first graph” provided at least two other articles reporting the same issue as yours. Apparently no solution found.
I have no other idea at the moment, sorry. But you could right-click the graph icon, select “copy image url” and report this URL to the list. Maybe someone sees any issue…

I played with the Check_MK demo site which is also running on 1.2.6 and I have no problem seeing the mini graph either. But my OMD version only allows me to run on Check_MK 1.2.4p5, so I don’t know if this is a bug or something got changed in this version.

I really found an old 1.2.4p3 version lying around and created a fresh OMD site with one monitored host… And all graph previews show up when hovered.
So, usually “should work”.
Will have a look at the code to see if I find a config possibility…

For example, network “interface” usually have more than one pnp graph, but I am only seeing one when hovering over. And it’s the same for all the other ones as well.

I am using check_mk 1.2.4p5. And when I hover over a pnp-graph icon, it suppose to display all available mini graphs there is. But instead, I am only getting one mini graph when hovering over. If I want to see all the different ones, I have to click into it.
I’ve also verified this feature on the latest Check_MK demo website and it’s fine, it display all the mini graphs. So my question is: is the a bug in 1.2.4p5 or a feature change?
