Hi:
I have the 1.5.0p14 version of Check_MK. I have launched an inventory about two Cisco switches, and Port-channels and interfaces VLAN are not discovered. I have enabled in a rule the propVirtual(53) and ieee8023adLag(161), and I have done the inventory one more time, but the Port-channels and interfaces VLAN are not discovered neither. What could I do?

does your host match the rule?
how is your rule configured, can you send us a screenshot of it (in listed view, not edit mode)?

Hi
we monitor about 11.000 Cisco Switches and Accesspoints.
In our installation the "Network Interface and Switch Port Discover"is set to discover all possible options, i.e. all options are in the “Selected” table, also “Description as service name” is set to “Use description” and “Alias as servicename” is set to “Use alias”. Portchannels and VLANs are discovered successfully.
The “Downside” of this is: on stacked switches Check_MK easily finds 300+ services, so we have strict rules which services are available to restrict this to the most important ones (which are max. 4 dozen even on big stacked switches)
