[Check_mk (english)] Running powershell script - causes service timeout

Hello,

I am trying to run a powershell script on windows server and to return a value. I add it to the mrpe section in check_mk.ini. When I scan the target host it just sits at the scan and does nothing, then I look on the check_mk pages and it says the service time out.

I made sure the file itself is associated as a powershell script and not notepad or another program. I made sure the script can execute and runs properly, which it does.

Any ideas?

run the agent in test or debug mode and see whats happening.

I checked the log file and all I see is that it is opening the file and then nothing after that
