[Check_mk (english)] Serial Interfaces missing

Hi, using 1.5.0P3 and monitoring a Cisco 3925 with point to point serial interfaces I can’t get the serial interfaces to show up.

I tried using if and if64.

Hello Nigel,

you have to enable the interface discovery for serial interfaces “Network Interface and Switch Port Discovery”

There:

Network interface port types to discover: 22 – propPointToPointSerial

Great, thank you, I found “Network Interface and Switch Port Discovery” “Interface_checks” in “host and service parameters”

and enabled it there and everything is working great again
