So I set up a schedule that runs 00:00 – 20:00 and 23:30-24:00 with the goal of ignoring checks between 20:00 and 23:30
I went into Wato > Host & Service Parameters > Monitoring Configuration > Service checks.
I created two rules, one in Check period for active services and one in Check period for passive Check_MK services.
Both are limited to 4 hostnames, but I don’t currently have a service specified (using ps_Splunk did not work previously so I left service blank assuming that it would include all).
This doesn’t seem to be working. Either I don’t have my schedule set up correctly or there is something else going on.
Has anyone done anything like this before?
