Hi there.
When i set a host to be monitored by snmp, (different vlans), and test it… i see on firewall lots of ports being used on destination. Is this correct?
Apart from 161/udp, i see from 33437/udp … up to 33523/udp.
It doesn’t seem to stop (33524, etc).
I thought only 161/udp would be used.
Is this correct? i need confirmation, before enabling all this ports.
Thanks for your time!
I don’t know in which direction do you see these ports used, not from OMD host to the destination.
If you use SNMP then only 161 is used.
Best regards
Andreas
