After upgrading from 1.2.5i5p4, i lost the ability to navigate on multisite.
i tried copying files (as advised in Migration to 1.2.5i6 Internal change: view filters moved to visuals If you have defined custom filters for your Multisite views, you need to move
the files containing the filters from share/check_mk/web/plugins/views to share/check_mk/web/plugins/visuals. ) to no avail, not even restarting the machine, or reinstalling CMK (and then restoring backup).
Everything else is working, but of course i cannot use WATO to manage the platform.
I cannot even downgrade…
It is all garbled to navigate or scroll with IE, FF, or Chrome. (Vista 32bit)

the new css and js files are referenced differently. I got it to work via:
cd /omd/sites/$YOURSITENAME/local/share/check_mk/web/htdocs/js;
for x in *.js;do ln -s $x $(basename $x .js)-1.2.5i6p4.js ;done
and the same for the css files, Updating check_mk this way seems to
work but there is the risk outlined here:
