I want to use Check_mk just as a graphing tool like I do with Cacti/Munin.
Do you have any idea if it is possible?

I think it's possible, but you would change the source code to make this work, you have make to all checks stay "OK" state
Why not using Cacti or Minin?!

I'd second the OMD recommendation. The OMD pre-packaged versin of check_mk (+ all the rest) was quite easy to set up, and gets us close to what I was already covering with munin. We still use munin, too, though. Munin is better for side-by-side comparisons. But munin has some serious performance issues once it scales.
