CMK version:2.2.p7
OS version:Centos9
Hi, I’m running a special OS called ESOS, Enterprise Storage OS - Its a custom Linux Kernel with some block storage related services on top. I have storage connected using Raid cards (two mega raid card)
I cannot install the agent and currently do not have systemd/xinetd. But I have unpackaged the agent and it works fine. I also see that I get smartctrl (that I’m really after) so all good.
Now I can call the agent using ssh and it kind’a works. As my storcli64 and tw_cli are in a different path I just added path when running the check via SSH instead. I had to rename my tw_cli as well from tw_cli.x86_64 and then it works.
However my main idea around raid monitoring was to get S.M.A.R.T data, I see one rule for that [OpenHardwareMonitor S.M.A.R.T.] (but I that’s another rule?)
I also see the following service in the agent output:
<<<storcli_cache_vault:sep
But that is not showing up as a service in Checkmk, is there any rule I need to add to see this (the Cache Vault is quite critical…)
Otherwise this is great and should have been enabled years ago ![]()
