checkmk HW/SW inventory

Hello together,

one question regarding the HW/SW Inventory in checkmk: Is there a possibility to get more information about a device/system then checkmk gives me by default?

e.g. the single hard disks and the size of them from a raid system?

ckeckmk only gives an overview but no detailed information about the disks…

You might be able to get that information using the standard checks using SNMP, IPMI or RedFish. I did some SNMP monitoring from old HP Servers and we were able to get a lot of useful information about disks and raid volumes for reference.
