We’ve recently upgraded our Windows CheckMK agents to 1.6.0p5 from 1.2.4p5 and are having some trouble configuring the Logwatch plugin, we’ve had some success transferring over our checks using instructions here:
We’ve hit a snag with a set of logs that use date stamped filenames, previously we were able to use a wildcard of LOGNAME* to scan these but this syntax no longer works and I’m unable to find any further documentation to figure out if this is possible and what the new syntax is, is anyone able to help with this?
I think the problem is that “LOGNAME*” don’t match on “LOGNAME20200925.log”
