I hope my request finds you all well.
I am running checkmk raw edition 2.2.0p5 with one master and multiple instances (distributed monitoring).
I set up the built-in notification system and everything works fine. Only, I would like no notification to be sent in case of a problem being solved.
I checked all the settings and I don’t see anything else to change and yet I continue to receive problem recovery alerts.
Any help is much appreciated.
below are my notification rule settings
in the conditions of your notification rule you can configure the “Match service|host event type”.
There you can configure the desired state change notifications.
Hi aeckstein, Tank you for your reply. As you can see on the above picture (screenshot), i’ve already configure it in my notification rule. but i’m still receiving recovery messages.
Are you sure, that no other rules match and that the notifications are not fallback notifications?
You can recreate the problem with fake check results and If you enable the analysis of the Notifications in the top above the notification rules, you can check if and which rules match.
