Does this issue happen on several clients and browsers, or only on yours?
Okay, I feel like a broken record, but let circle back one more time.
Your issue is independent of:
The browser
The server OS
The Checkmk version
Did I get that right?
Then: Where would you look next? Personally I would look at the network, more specifically the central firewalls, which, as you already shared are next generation firewalls, probably capable of intercepting layer 7. It might also be some kind of IPS or similar. But what I can tell you is this: This is not a Checkmk application problem.
Can you run a local VM on your computer to set up Checkmk, just to double-check?
