Checkmk server dashboard - layout mode in menue not visible

Hi,

i´ve got two different installations. One on a ubuntu vm 18.04 LTS (right) and ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS (left).
Raw, latest vesrion.

Could anyone tell me, why i couldn´t see “enter layout mode” on the right side?

PS: Don´t be confused by the hostname on the left site, it´s not a docker setup.

BTW: The left side looks different by default, not so nice like right side. All the dashlets were overlayed, how could this happend?

tomatos on my eyes… the menue entries are different “enter layout mode” and “customize builtin dashboard”. get´s me a liitle bit confused…

If you use “Customize builtin…” for the first time you will get the shortcut in the main menu bar and the “Leave/Enter layout mode” dropdown menu entry.

All the dashlets were overlayed, how could this happend?

Have a look at “Customize” - “Dashboards”.
I assume you changed the default dashboard (just delete it to get the builtin back).
