nope, the snmp_extended_info will not write the product field in the inventory but only the serial number + model name and the list of hardware components. The product field comes from the snmp_info plugin. In your case the product “fortigate” is correct (at least for the snmp_info plugin).
So to have the version info and so on, there needs to be a fortigate specific plugin.
