Any idea why all of my switches have got stale services? On the right of the screenshot you can see the time they were last checked ‘2024-12-05’ which is the exact same time for all of the switches.
I only added them in around a week ago, which makes me think that they were monitored for a week and not timed out?
Is there a rule that I need to create for them to check in every week or something?
All switches are online and check in through SNMPv3.

But your SNMP credentials are wrong or your traffic is blocked by firewall rules.
The CheckMK service shows you the error message that no data could be fetched.
Thats interesting because nothing has changed, an SNMP walk works fine from the server so it cant be firewall or credentials?
Ran a service discovery again and manually re-entered credentials on one device and it seems to have brought the majority of them back to life.
Also if anyone knows a way to send a notification if this happens that would be great?
Just have the “Check_MK” service notify you (which would be a default, if you notify everything).
