Checkmk the confured data sources is not operating as expected

CMK version: 2.1.0p27
OS version: Ubuntu 22.04

Post upgrade from CheckMK Raw to CheckMK Enterprise Standard I receive the error when querying some snmp sources for services “the confured data sources is not operating as expected”. I’m unable to add any services to monitoring for the host. The interesting thing is the system is picking up 30+ services that are not being monitored in the checkmk scheduled checks on the host using SNMP, but I’m unable to add them in the monitoring page.

Any thoughts on what went wrong or is this a bug in the current version? Credentials are correct, they were also working prior to the upgrade. I can query snmp using the same credentials from other systems.

Figured this out - if using just SNMP on a host, check the box above it to select “No API Integrations, No CheckMK Agent” and save. Services will pick up as usual.
