Cisco DOM Transceiver Module Limits

Currently monitoring the receive/transmit power for our cisco transceiver modules in our switches. In the config below you can see the limits set:

This works fine, and alerts when the signal is in those ranges. The issue I’m seeing is that interface with a module inside of it, but no cable connected will have a signal as -40 dBm by default.

Is there a way I can create a rule to ignore these errors? Or do I just have to disable the interfaces that are not connected?

Anyone had any ideas on this one?

If the service is enabled you are able to create a rule, but you need to specify each device and port manually I guess.
