We have a DNS service in two nodes (cluster with a virtual IP). The cluster is active in a single node, and the virtual IP balances and is always in the active node, which is the one that provides the service.
The idea is to create a cluster in check_mk with these two nodes and that DNS service. The DNS service has been created with an active check (Check DNS service) and in the clustered services a rule has been created with the nodes and that service. The problem is that the DNS service does not appear in the cluster´s services, only the ping and the Check_MK_discovery.
Is there a problem using active checks? With manual checks this does not happen.
