CMK 1.6.0p12: Host is down, Services are OK

CMK 1.6.0p12
Ubuntu 18.04

This is a single instance the rest of my Hosts in the Site are not having this issue.

Host is stated as Down (red), while all its services are OK (Green). I have run tests and: Ping, SNMPv1, v2c (with and without Bulkwalk), v3 Traceroutes all returning OK. I am unsure why this issue is happening.

Hi @JimCantine

Can you check in your “Host & Service Parameters” the rule “Host Check Command”? Perhaps
a rule in there is overriding the default behaviour of pinging a Host to determine its status.

are the services really bright green or pale green (‘stale’)?

It was not a stale check. And updating the Host Check Command seemed to do the trick. Appreciate the help! All is fixed now.
