We are getting Communication failed: timed out error for windows servers and also when running agent registration command on those servers we are getting error as “Connection timed out after 120 seconds”.
Also when i do telnet for the port 6556 from checkmk server getting error as “Unable to connect to remote host : Connection timed out”.
Ok there some Points:
Take a look in the local agent log
Check runtime of the Plug-Ins ( e.g. Powershell Scripts)
Check local Powershell (e.g.g how long it take to get a Powershell Prompt ? Virusscan ? …)
Restrict Runtime for Scripts
Is it possible to run Plug-in / Scripts with cached data ?
