Commvault backup servers Down

Hi Community,

I have added few Commvault backup servers servers to check_mk monitoring with added FW rules ICMP,6556 ports and all the services are displaying fine. but the servers are showing down in Dashboard.

Users have logged in servers and they are fine from their end, could any one suggest on this why its showing down in check_MK dashboard.

Hi,
which host check method do use? If ICMP blocked by FW, you could use Port check instead of Ping or smartPing or Result of Agent as host state.
